This is a private reference, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or pull an official booking record. The Sheriff's Office, arresting agency, jail, corrections department, or court must answer those questions directly.
Where to Ask for Bleckley Records
The office depends on the record and custody stage. Call before visiting because the research did not locate a separate Sheriff's records line or public lobby schedule.

Clerk information
The Cochran Open Records form is the documented route for a city incident or arrest report. Ask the Sheriff's custodian separately for a jail-created booking sheet or photograph.
Which Office Handles the Question?
Use the following routing list to avoid sending a current-custody question to a court or a jail-photo request to a police records desk.
- Current Bleckley County Jail custody: call the 24/7 line at 478-934-6282. A phone answer is a point-in-time status.
- Bleckley booking sheet or photograph: call 478-934-4545 and ask for the Open Records Act custodian.
- Cochran incident or arrest report: use the City Clerk's form and identify the Cochran Police event.
- Case history or disposition: contact the Clerk or use Georgia Courts E-Access; a provider account may be needed.
- Sentenced state custody: use the Georgia Department of Corrections offender search or its records office.
- Federal custody: use the BOP locator. It does not publish inmate photographs.
- Immigration custody: use the ICE locator when the facts point to ICE detention.
For a multi-county Allentown event, first identify the exact county and arresting agency. The city name alone cannot tell you which sheriff or clerk holds the record.
What to Include in a Request
Describe an existing record in plain terms. Include the full name, approximate arrest or booking date, location, arresting agency, and the document wanted. Ask for electronic copies, an estimate, and the legal basis for any withheld portion. A request for a custom history may be answered differently from a request for an existing booking sheet.
Georgia Attorney General Open Government guidance says an agency should act on available records within three business days or explain the earliest practicable production date, estimated cost, and exemption authority. The first 15 minutes of search work are free under the guidance, and standard copies may cost up to ten cents per page. Bleckley does not publish a local Sheriff's flat fee, so ask before work begins.
Keep the agency response with the booking date and case number. It will make a later court inquiry more precise.
